Mac-on-Linux is back! OpenJDK revamped! And more?
Hey folks,
after having spent a while without Mac-on-Linux it's now back better than ever. We made some efforts to port it to our kernel as it requires a kernel module and fixed quite a few bugs thanks to OpenSuSE (kernel patches) and Debian (userland patches). Now everything should be back to work as it was during 2.6.22.
If you installed Mac-on-Linux and want to install your Apple operating system this page might be a good read:

Oh by the way, have you seen our OpenJDK packages? Make sure you install openjdk-6-sdk if you need the build environment as well. Our current OpenJDK is based on IcedTea 1.2 (plus fixes from mercurial) and thus 1.6 compliant. Since on Linux/PPC we have no choice but to use the Zero Assembler backend things may seem a bit slow. The shark JITC is under development though and we will see news on that front soon, hopefully.
